jorge wojtas was born in England of Polish descent and was exposed to flamenco at a very early age. Since then he has developed a passion for the Gypsy art form. This led him to move to the province of Andalucia in southern Spain, the birthplace of flamenco, where he was immersed in the Gypsy flamenco culture. While in Spain he performed in flamenco festivals including the prestigious "Feria de Sevilla" and the "Feria de Málaga." He moved to the United States in 1987 where he teaches and continues to perform as a solo guitarist.
